Michel was editor-in-chief of personal finance at French financial daily Les Echos for more than 10 years. Prior to this he wrote for several major economic and financial magazines whilst running a daily radio program on business and economics on Radio Classique for about 20 years. He is the author of “La Planète Bourse” published by Gallimard Découvertes, of “Le Grand Divorce : pourquoi les Français haïssent leur économie » published by Calmann-Lévy, and of “Profession escroc” published by François Bourin Editeur.

Michel studied Political Science in Bordeaux and English at the Sorbonne. Working languages: French (mother tongue), English
